The Secret Life of Walter Mitty Movie Review

Not a complete waste of time as some of the movies I've reviewed, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty takes you on a trip to destinations you only imagine of actually going to. This is fitting since the main character zones out and finds himself lost in imagination. The special effects and cinematography in this film deserves a grade of A although the actual story line is a bit empty. Everyone who fears stepping out of their comfort zone can relate to Walter Mitty but we are left unfulfilled because we don't know what Walter Mitty will do next. We are led to believe he will continue a mundane life but after all he went through, he should be much like the CEO of Virgin Mobile. I enjoyed the movie personally. There were moments where I found myself laughing out loud but not hysterically (I didn't expect to). A smart humor. I would definitely reccomend (did I really just say "smart humor" and misspell recommend?... yes) seeing this in the theater but catch a matinĂ©e deal. "Beautiful things don't ask for attention". I give this film a 7.5 out of 10.
